Hi everyone - I'm wandering over from 2nd tri to pick your brains

I'm working on my registry and don't have an opinion on play mats at all. Every baby is going to be different in what they like, I know. But I'm just curious if you have one that you and LO really love for some reason. Thanks!

Re: Recommend your play mat
I think they'd like just about anything.. just yesterday someone posted a pic of the one I have.. it is an infantino twist and fold activity mat.. was fairly inexpensive and my LO loves it. I have the "boy" one with cool colors.. orange, greens, blue..looks like a patchwork quilt...Animals are really cute and she "talks" to them. The mirror is detachable and I move it around to put in her view.. so is mesmerized by herself!!! I also use it for tummy time and turn her on her belly, b/c the "poles" are easily detachable.
Good luck to you.
We got the Baby Einstein play mat for Xmas and DD loves it, especially the octopus toy and lights/music toy. It is a bit pricey $69, but I would say it's worth it now. It is washable and all of the toys can be moved around. Also serves as a tummy time mat with whale pillow.
We also have the Fisher Price Aquarium mat, which was in the $20 range. She hasn't shown any interest in it.
We really like this one - I think they have it at BRU, Amazon, etc...
