Seriously? You can't just say a little over 2 years? Why not add in the minutes and seconds too while you're at it!

I hate when groups of people can spew out whatever opinions they want on a public message board but when someone/others come in to do the same, said first group gets all pissy about it.

If those people were around and every once in awhile shiit flared up- more power to them. It's when they show up out of nowhere for the sole purpose of stirring shiit that it is annoying.

It would be like me not posting for months (which has happened) and then one day decided to drag up an old drama between bgg and myself (that is really really old drama but it's the only one I can think of right now).

I support the idea of public health care. Not sure that what's going on right now is going to do it right, but I think its a step in the right direction.

Also, I will be doing nothing for NYE and probably going to bed before midnight.

I think everyone, regardless of sex, should hold doors open for people behind them, people carrying heavy things, pregnant women, the elderly, the handicapped, etc.

Judging from their tweets, Snooki appears to be the most intelligent of the Jersey Shore cast.

I was so over MTV after the Real World with Trashelle, but Jersey Shore has brought me back to them. I can't help but love that show.

Just make sure you teach your son to do all of this (I'm sure you will). My dad and brother are great like this, DH is great when he's around them and remembers he's supposed to do things like stand up when I get to the table. My younger brother will actually say something to me if I start to open my own door!

I also will add that I'm sick of hearing people complain about being broke and having trouble feeding their kids when they smoke, are on a bowling league, and have all that fancy add on cable crap like DVR and then use their tax money to go on a vaca rather than save it or pay off debt. You give them advice on how to make their life better and they make up excuses so they clearly like being broke and having something to complain about. Although I'm sure this is not an unpopular opinion. (This is my co worker right now so its irking me like crazy)

If they are however working really hard and pinching every penny they have in order to feed themselves and their family and to try and get off of depending on the system, then I think thats awesome and want to help them.

My unpopular opinion - If you are still blaming the country's current problems on G.W. Bush - you need your head examined. Things have gotten incredibly worse since Obama came in to office.

DH does it too! I don't know where he learned it, because no one else in his family stands or holds doors.

He did it as soon as we started dating, so I didn't even have to train him!

Men who hold doors are becoming so rare...it makes me sad.

When people post about not getting the reaction they wanted from telling someone they're having a baby. And I'm not talking about the ones where people's parents get pissed off.....I'm talking the posts where people complain that their cousin said congrats but, "They didn't smile and they didn't say anything else about it all night!"

It actually annoys me when my husband tries to open the car door for me. I'm just like "What, do I stand here and wait for you to do it!? Do I do it myself!?!" It's just awkward. I don't get it.

And I, also, do not understand the standing up thing. I just don't get it.

I do, however, agree that anyone should open the door for anyone else, regardless of gender/age/race, etc. It's the polite thing to do.
