FP Seahorse, you have failed me...

Maybe I wasn't patient enough...but my baby isn't hypnotized into napping/sleeping with this Seahorse like everyone else says their LO is! She watched it for a little while, but I ended up having to rock her to sleep tonight! DH told me he tried it for her naps to no avail.

What gives>??????

The only time the Seahorse works for us is if DD is already sleeping and starts to stir- I turn on the seahorse and she seems to go back to sleep. But otherwise, it doesn't help calm her when she is away or help her fall asleep.

It has never worked for us. Maybe when she is a bit older it will be better.

This. If E needs a midnight bottle I can turn it on and he doesn't cry while I go to make it. At the end of the bottle I turn it on again and he likes to put his hand on it and drift to sleep. We got it for Christmas and I am loving it.

Doesn't work for us. DS enjoys it but has never gone to sleep.

DS didn't start responding to the seahorse until he was about 5 months old.

She likes it but its not magical for us either. I tried associating it with sleep for her. So when I introduced it, I would rock her with the seahorse playing. I find that she likes it bc I lay it next to her and put her arm around it and she snuggles with it which helps her sleep. Give it more time.
