Underwear recommendations

Seriously.  Prior to getting PG I was wearing VS string bikini briefs, but now they're cutting into my bump and there's too much bunching when I wear them under my belly.  Is there underwear out there that sits low enough to not bunch under belly but still give good bum coverage?

Re: Underwear recommendations

  • I wear the boyshorts. I've just been buying them a bit bigger as I need to.

  • Motherhood has bikini briefs that are high and low cut...no bunching :)
  • motherhood sells some that are decent. I also found some granny panties at target. I think they're hanes. They are ugly and like $7 a bag (I never thought I'd wear underwear from a bag, I've always been a VS girl)...but they are very comfortable.

  • I went to target and bought Hanes bikini briefs and bikini thongs in a bigger size and they work great.

  • Do they make low rise in the bikini briefs?  I switched to their low rise V string thongs and I'm much more comfortable now!

  • I was a VS thong gal before pregnancy, they are so uncomfortable now.  At first I got some of the stretchy lacey boy shorts from VS but recently I found the most comfortable undies in the 5 for $15 at target.  they are band free and soft cotton.
  • Most of the VS Pink line is cotton. The hipsters and cheeky hipsters are all below the belly and super cute. Just be sure you don't get the cheekier hipsters by accident, unless you're intending to wear a thong with little butt flaps.

  • I bought some cotton/spandex bikinis from motherhood and love them.  They are so comfy.
  • Thanks girls, I didn't even think of Motherhood!  I got a gift card to there for Christmas.  Maybe I'll give Target a try, too.  I've always had a hard time with low rise panties not pulling up high enough in back, I guess it will be trial and error!

  • The nice thing about the hanes ones are that they are cheap....I bought a few differnent styles and sizes and spent about 20.  Once I found a kind I liked I went and bought a few more packs.

Yeah, they are undies in a bag, but I figured there is so much going on down there, that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on undies right now.

  • I am still wearing the same undies I wore pre-pg...VS Pink low rise cotton thongs.  I am carrying high though, so they sit way below my belly and don't bother me at all.  I am even still wearing the same size as pre-pg, because I am ALL belly!

  • i preferred maternity underwear last time. old navy's were my favorite, i could only find them online though. motherhood's werent too bad either.
  • I've been wearing the Hanes Comfort band (or something like that - they are cotton and don't have bare elastic at the top - it's a rolled cotton band instead) bikinis, and they still fit - they are low enough that they go under my bump without bunching.
