When did you transition to the big bathtub?

I stayed at my moms last night, and didn't bring C's bathtub - so I just gave him a bath in my moms tub and he loved it...he was trying to crawl everywhere.  He was having a blast "swimming" In his tub I can let him splash and not really worry about having a hand on him at all times, but in the big tub I feel I have to be holding him to make sure he doesn't bump his head on the ceramic.  When did you start giving baths in your tub?

    ds is already in the "big boy" bath tub. we switched him to it when he was able to sit unassisted.

    we have a tubby seat that clamps to the side of the bathtub so she can swivel and stuff, but she can't take off on me!

    by big boy- do you mean a toddler tub, or your bath tub?  we took the infant support out of his whale tub when he was able to sit unassisted

    5 months...he kept grabbing and pulling the baby tub and spilling all the water on me so I moved him over! Now I can't get him out w/out crying lol he loves his bath time!

    a normal bath tub. we just stuck in one of those non slip things on the bottom so he doesnt slide around. he actually quite likes it. i was surprised.

    DS has been taking baths with me in the bath tub since he was about 2 months old and he loves it.  I hadn't intended to switch him so early, but we moved and our new kitchen sink was divided and the infant tub didn't fit in it very well.  Once DS learned to splash the water went everywhere, so we decided to move him to the tub.

    We moved to the big tub at 8 mo. because it was so hard to bath him in the infant tub. He loves the big tub because he can crawl around in it, splash and play with his toys. I just watch that he doesn't bump his head on the faucet and have to sit him back down when he stands up

    Around 7 mo.-once she could sit well on her own. I don't keep my hand on her at all times-I let her crawl around and play!

    7 months because she would splash the bath water out of her infant tub and soak me.  At first I sat in there with her, but now she's fine on her own (meaning I sit next to the tub and watch her)
