Sleeping

I can't seem to get comfortable on my bed...  For the past several weeks I've been sleeping on the couch.  It's kind of a bummer since I would rather be next to my husband, sleeping away in our bed together.  I tried last night to sleep in the bed, fell asleep but woke up at 2:30 am and just couldn't get comfortable.  So I landed on the couch again.  Ah well....guess you have to sleep where you know is comfy. :)

Re: Sleeping

  • Have you tried extra pillows to keep yourself propped on your side? Or maybe you could kind of spoon your DH, that's what I do sometimes, it's comfy and having a hold of my DF helps keep me on my side.

  • Sounds like it's time for you to look in to a body pillow!
  • AAAH!  Thank you!  I am such a "back" sleeper this side thing is driving me nuts! I've got a body pillow, but still can't get comfy, I wake up every 3 hrs or so, and it's frustrating.  I may try sleeping on the recliner tonight (it probably doesn't help that I have a cold)...
  • I agree with pp. Maybe try some body pillows of some arrangement? It might take a few nights to figure it out. GL though!

  • I have tried everything and can't get comfortable either. I am starting to get used to sleeping a few hours at a time.

  • I agree, you should get a body pillow and a wedge for your tummy. I have to sleep with the wedge pillow under my belly or back, but if it makes you feel better I always have a hard time sleeping when I am KO'd.
