Payton Rylee is Here!

I had my baby on Friday, December 18th after three hours of pushing and a forced c-section. The full story is on my blog if you care to read. Just to let all you ladies know, up to pushing for the second hour labor itself was a breeze and at one point I was stoked that I was fortunate. Well, I thought wrong. Recovery is going well but we're having some issues with me not producing enough milk. My only suggestion for those who have created a birth plan. It's a great idea, and you should share your wishes with the staff but be prepared for it not to go as you planned or envisioned. I was a wreck, literally. Good luck to all of those who are still expecting!

    Congrats!  I read the story on your blog-- sorry you had such a bad experience at Zion.  I delivered there on 12/12 and fortunately had a great experience; it's interesting how different it can be for different people in different situations, with different staff attending to them!

    Congrats on your new baby!  I'm sorry you had such a bad time at the hospital.  That did not sound fun.

    I am SO excited for you guys. Congrats on little Payton! I'm so sorry things didn't go like you had hoped. Thanks for the advice on being prepared to be flexible though. I imagine I'd be a wreck if I had to go through that!
