If you already have a little boy, when did you start to potty train? I had a friend tell me 3, but I was wondering if that was around the typical age with little boys? (no, i'm not going to try to potty train him next week or anything, I just have no clue about things like this..)
Re: 2nd time mommies
we've been talking about it since he turned three this summer. We're now trying to push a little harder with it, since I've a mind to put him in preschool and they won't take him if he isn't potty trained.
DS just turned 18 months and we bought him a potty seat. DH is pushing me to have him sit on it every day (I SAH)
I'm not pushing it. He's not even showing interest yet. I mean, he comes in the bathroom and loves to try and button your pants for you, lol but when it come to showing interest? There is none.
I might start sitting him on it just to appease DH but I'm not expecting anything. He is waaayyyy to young right now.
I agree with over 2 years for boys. Girls (from what I've read/heard), show interest a lot younger than boys
