Confession - Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week

because that is the day that my mom comes and spends the night with O while I get some sleep. When my step-sisters heard this on Christmas, they made all kinds of comments about how spoiled I am, and how they never had anything like that. I almost started to feel bad, but I stopped myself. DH has been working overnight shifts since O was two weeks old. It was quite a transition for him to not only go back to work, but to go back from 8pm - 7-9am made it really hard for me. There is something about being alone in the middle of the night with a fussy baby that makes me a little nutty. At first, DH thought we were taking advantage of my mom, but I think he is starting to see the light. Mom enjoys it. I enjoy it. I'm sure Olivia enjoys it too. After the couple of very fussy days that we've had I am very much wishing it were Wednesday already!
