Best body shaper/slimmer?

I would rather NOT pay $50 for a Spanx.

I have to go to a wedding Friday.  I don't want to look like I had a baby 7 weeks ago.  I really don't want to go to this wedding, but it's DH's co-worker, so I have no choice.  Blech.

    I got something at Kohl's. I can't remember who made it, but it was just a normal lingerie brand - still kinda pricey though.

    i get the assets brand at target.  works v. well. its made by the spanx people, i think.  less than $20 for most pieces.

    My favorite one I also got at Kohls.  I have a Spanx but I dont like it much.  It does the job but after wearing it for a little while it starts riding down my torso and creates more lumps that it eliminates.  The one I got at kols has  bodice with a deep V shape and goes on your shoulders to it doesnt roll below the bust.  It's also made of a very light (yet incredibly effective) material, has legs (thighs) and a slit at the crotch.

    Hmmm.

    I was wondering about Assets.  Good to know.  I'll check Kohl's out, too.

    well, i think it's just crazy.  i cried the first time i had to put on underwire.  i still try to get away with wearing my nursing tanks under sweatshirts on the weekends.  and we quit nursing 3 months ago.

    Oops, sad.  Not said.

    I figure that if I'm going to have huge boobs from nursing, I may as well put them in a push-up bra and enjoy them!  I've always had itty bitty boobs, so having something bigger than a B-cup is a novelty.

    aha! see, i'm opposite.  I had DDs, and now am a generous C, small D.  I'm loving it.  you should flaunt those girls while they last, and hopefully they last a while.

    Hell, I haven't been to J-Mall since high school.

    And that was only because we used to perform (orchestra) every Christmas.  I remember it was super crappy back then.

    well, it does not have an express so you are saved from it's extreme crappiness.   the toys r us out there always has the toys that are sold out at other stores, has been my experience, for future reference.
