Where to buy hemp/fabric for diapers?

I'm going to sew some more diapers for our next LO (to replace some of the BGs that I am out of love with ;)  and I was wondering where you ladies buy your hemp or other fabrics (and what they are) for your own diapers.  Thanks!

Re: Where to buy hemp/fabric for diapers?

  • kidsinthegarden.com is great. naturesfabrics.com is also a great resource, although she doesn't sell any PUL or fleece/suedecloth . She only does natural fibers. Also, there are TONS of fabric/diaper sewing groups on Yahoo! groups and you can get great prices through those coops. Sometimes the wait can be long, but usually it isn't too bad. If you are looking for some specific fabrics, I have extras that I won't be needing and am willing to sell, if you are interested. You can email me or PM me if you are interested. GL!

  • Not very eco-friendly material, but I always buy the scrap fleece fabric that is on the clearance rack for my fleece diaper covers at Joann fabrics. You can easily make the covers into diapers, but I am using pre-folds so I don't. I actually went today and got over a yard of John Deer scrap fleece for like $5 since they are having an extra 70% off ontop of the clearance price. I couldn't pass the deal up!

  • Forgot to add, but I sometimes bid on some more eco-friendly material on ebay and often get good deals!
