Why did I pay 2 Day Air?

I ordered Ava a table and chair set from Pottery Barn on the 21st. It was shipped on the 22nd, 2 Day Air and arrived in Jacksonville on the 23rd and there it has sat the entire time: ( It was originally to be delivered on the 24th and then rescheduled for today the 28th. It is still sitting in Jacksonville and UPS customer service doesn't answer their phones until 10:30. This is so frustrating, I ordered shoes on Christmas and they are arriving today via UPS. I cannot believe it has just been sitting there.

  • Wow, I would ask for a refund.  I know it's the holidays and very busy, but why offer something you can't deliver on?

  • That sucks.   I am normally not a huge start a fuss type of person, but I think I would put a call into pottery barn if you don't get very far with UPS. I know it is more of a UPS problem than pottery barn, but I think businesses should know when their products aren't being delivered in a timely fashion especially when expedited shipping has been paid.

  • UPS guarantees their air service with a full refund of the shipping price.  You can bet your sweet bippy that Pottery Barn will be taking advantage of that refund.  I'd call them and request a reversal of your shipping charges.
