So, I don't frequent them, but lately I've been curious about some of the nat'l boards. I found the 3-6 months board okay, but I lurked at the 6-12 months since Logan will soon (in about a week) be 6 months, and boy are they snarky and mean on that board. I don't know if I can handle them. Anyone have anything to say on this matter.

Re: nat'l boards
When 3 Became 4
I enjoy both the local and national boards. Yeah, there's more snark on those boards, but I'm not opposed to some humorous snark now and then. I've learned a ton from the boards through the different stages (tri boards, 0-6, 6-12, toddlers) so it's worth the risk of a flame here and there to me.
That said, I do enjoy our peaceful happy local board as well.

Back when I didn't mind being abitch, I kind of liked the national boards. Especially back when BOTB was the ONLY baby board.
It was a release of sorts.
However, I'm pretty much done with posting just for the sake of being evil. While I still speak my mind, I don't really dish out too much snark anymore. Not sure why I ever did **shrug** Call it miscarriage bitterness, whatever it was, I'm over it. There are plenty of mean nesties to take my place.
I like the national boards. I'm on 12-24 a lot. Things can get nasty, but you don't have to be part of that if you don't want to. I'm usually pretty nice and almost never get flamed, but I am still able to enjoy those boards and the info I get on there
If you're afraid of getting flamed just lurk for awhile and see what sets people off, then be sure not to do that, lol. I've found it's always good to be very specific and to always provide the background info when posting - a lot of issues get started when posts are too vague and open to interpretation.
