How Long Will 500 Diapers Last...

Wondering about my stockpile.  I've got approx 240 Newborn-Sized (Most still in packages so they can be exchanged if necessary) and 240 Size-1.

We should be good for at least a month, right?  How many is your newborn using per day?

    I go through about 100 a week. It was prob a little more when she was just born.

    240 should last for a month, maybe a month and a half. Just depends on how many messy diapers you have. As  a newborn, my DS was going through atleast 10 a day.

    My LO went through a box of 216 in about 3 weeks.  She wasn't in NB long enough for me to really pay attention to how quickly she went through them.

    we go through about 80 to 90 a week.  240 lasted us about 3 weeks. I wouldn't buy too many more than what you have - we found that we definitely preferred some brands to others and that some brands fit better and so I was glad we hadn't bought a ton of one kind ahead of time.  It was simple enough for my husband to go grab more when we ran out.

    I'd say we do somewhere between 6 & 8 diapers per day, so that's roughly 250 on the heavy side of things (8 diapers for 31 days).  We probably did closer to 10 or even a little higher when he was first born.

    Harrison was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth & in newborn diapers about 5-6 weeks.

    We go through 80-100 diapers a week, a little less now that we are in ones (they seem to hold more).

    The first few weeks DD got changed at every feeding (2-3 hours), plus when she pooped. She also peed and pooped often when we were changing her which caused us to use 2 diapers per changing. That was a real PITA. Now she gets changed right after every feeding (she only poops once every 3 days). We went through 200-300 NB and are now finishing up our 300 size 1s. She'll be ready for size 2 as soon as those are gone.

    DD has been gaining weight very fast, though. She was 7.5 at birth and is already 13lbs.

    Our LO poops often so we go through ~15 diapers a day.  We purchase a box of diapers (216) about every 2 weeks.  We only used one box of newborn diapers before moving to size 1.
    BFP #1 (DS, 10/98), BFP #2 (DD, 10/09)
    BFP #3 -mm/c @ 7wks, discovered at 9wks, D&C 9/28
