Their policy says "no" but wondered if anyone had any experience trying to do it. I bought a table and chair set for M's bday tomorrow then my uncle surprised us by refinishing the set my brother and I and my cousins used as kids so obviously that's the one we'll be using. We hadn't assembled the IKEA furniture so it's still in the box, but I can't find the receipt anywhere. Since the set was only $25 I don't want to spend too much time trying to return it (last time I returned something there, I had to wait a loooong time and it wasn't even the holdiays) if they really won't take it back.
