Hello, I'm new here. I'm also newly Engaged as well. The weddings' set for 2011.
I was wondering, if i'm 27 now, when is a right time to really think about adding a new addition to the family? we've discussed finances as well as buying a house within the next two years (hopefully) I don't want to be to young, nor too old? Any advice? Thanks.
Re: what age is a good age?
Dee? Is that you?

When you are ready. When you husband is ready. and not a moment before.
Children are WONDERFUL,but a lot of work and can at times, strain a marriage and definitely dip into the savings.
I was 30 when I got married. My husband was 36. He is 39 with a 1 year old and is THANKFUL everyday that he waited as long as he did to settle down. I am thankful I waited to become a Mom.
But everyone is different.
LOL No, I promise it is not.
To the OP - having a baby is not an "age" thing, it is a matter of when you and your DH are both ready to start a family. Unless you are in your 50s or something.

It's a personal choice... I think 30 is a great age to start. BUT it's different in different parts of the contry. I'll be 29 when we have our daughter (god willing) and I think that's a great age too.
Don't get so caught up on the number...
I agree! LOL!
