  Looks like you got the italian and spanish.... those are the only 2 I know offhand. Cause I am Italian, and the spanish is cause we watch alot of Dora....lol

  In French (minus the accents b/c of my computer)

  Grand-mere = grand mother, but a lot of kids say "Meme" (pronounced "May-may") for "grandma"

  Ok, so I know I'm not pregnant, but I was just lurking around and saw this post and wanted to contribute.   In Swedish:

  Grandma=Mormor (if it's your mother's mother)

  Grandpa=Morfar (if it's your mother's father)

  -or-

  Farmor and Farfar (if it's your father's parents)

  TTC #1 since 7/08 After 3 years, 2 losses, 3 rounds of IUI, and one round of IVF, we finally have our dream come true! DS born 7/30/11

  shepa or something like that is Hebrew which SMIL would like to be called, we're all Catholic (she's jewish) and DH hates it but she says she's too young to be a grandma (she's 51).
