I have an overwhelming urge to set up the baby's room.

We were supposed to buy Katie's crib the Monday after she was born.  That day just also happens to be my Mom's birthday.  When she first passed, I still wanted to get the crib and set everything up.  That feeling left when we got back into our routine.

But now that I have a break again, I want to set it up.  Not for Katie, obviously, but for the baby that will be in there someday.

I'll at least wait until I'm pregnant again.

    Thanks ladies.  It's such a weird feeling.  Of course, it's also the only room that's not finished.  That could be part of it, too.

    Not that this compares to your situation in any way but we have had the flooring for our "nursery" aka spare bedroom sitting in there waiting to be installed for a long time. I said that I wanted to wait to paint it and make it a nursery before we put in the flooring, now it is just mocking me.

    We ordered Jillian's furniture a week before she was born.  We canceled it, but part of me wanted to get it anyway.  It's probably best that we canceled it, though.  I refuse to move her stroller out of there, though.

    I thought I was going to be painting a nursery over holiday break. I've been waiting to paint that room for over three years. I'm half tempted to paint the damn thing this weekend anyway....It too is mocking me.

    I think my dh may get concerned if he comes home and finds me with paint everywhere, sitting in the middle of the floor crying though.
