I tried to wear K Sunday at the mall. O M G it was like carrying jugs of water! I was so exhausted I had to leave because I didn't have the stroller with me. I consider myself average weight, but I was wiped out after taking her out. I need another mode of tranportation for miss k, cause we will NEVER go anywhere without that stroller if I can't get something more effective and easier. Confused

I wear DD (18.5 lbs) in the ergo all the time. It is kinda expensive, but so worth it.

I don't do it as often anymore, and I rarely would do it without dh being close by to pass her off to. It is a workout. Can't wait till she starts walking!

I tried wearing DS with a moby style wrap...(woven fabric)..and I nearly died. I barely lasted 10 minutes. He's 24 lbs

I have an Ergo and recently had to wear my 26 lb toddler in a front carry for almost 90 minutes(was volunteering at family activity at my school and didn't have a sitter for DS...I couldn't have him running around so I wore him) He was happy and I was comfortable. My feet were killing me by the end of the night from all the running around with that extra weight on me but my back felt fine!
