Ugh. For weeks now my nose has been clogged but dry and crusty at the same time. It hurts! I am blowing it all hours of the day but never seem to get any relief. I am sure it doesn't help that it is so dry here, but wow, this kinda sucks.
My nose is always stuffy no matter what. So i guess i have to live with it for another 6 month possible. hopefuly it will relief alittle after winter..
Yes! I'm in CO too and I have the same thing going on. I have a humidifier in the bedroom that runs 24 hrs a day. That and saline nasal spray have helped me some.
Yes, I am exactly 22 weeks today and I have had this the entire pregnancy! It's terrible, and it has a name- it's called pregnancy rhinitis. I tell that to everyone out there who says "you must have allergies." I will give you my list of daily remedies, all which help, but do not cure! The Dr. says it will go away after birth.
Stuff nose surivial- Vicks vapor rub at night, humidifier next to the bed on all night, tissues w/lotion, vaseline on/around/in the nose, saline spray once in the morning and once at night, and for nights when it is REALLY bad I take one benadryl (safe even during 1st trimester). G/L, I totally feel your pain!
Oh and drink lots of H2O because the Dr said blowing your nose constantly actually dehrdrates you.

Yeah I was going to go get a humidifier last night, DH said go to Target and I was not going to set foot anywhere near a Target. Maybe I will see if Walgreens has some good ones. I can't stand the saline spray, maybe I will have to just quit complaining and try it though.
Yeah . . . and every morning when I blow my nose it's mostly blood. Just one of the lovely things about pregnancy I had no clue about. I realize it's perfectly normal, but WHY does it happen? Hormones or something?
I've been tilting my head back and just letting the saline drip in my nose, instead of spraying it up there. I think it's helping (it's only been a couple days) and the drips aren't nearly as traumatic as the spraying.
ive been congested since BFP but within the past few weeks its just brutal. i cant sleep at night. i use the neti pot twice a day but i think i need a humidifier. i used decongestant last night and it helped. im blaming this cold dry buffalo air.

I have a humidifier and it seems to help a little, but my nose is still running like a fountain 24/7.
Oh well!
