that DH and I don't exchange gifts until after x-mas? not that we don't care...but it makes it easier. We usually make a date night the first week of January, after all the crazy holiday hoopla. We go out to dinner and exchange gifts. People are asking me what I got him and I am like, nothing yet. It just works for us I guess...

I think that whatever works for you is great! DH and I are not exchanging gifts this year, the trip was our gift. People ask me what I got him and I say nothing and they say "no, seriously?"
Then I have to explain everything. I might just start saying a sweater. LOL
