Hello Shamrock Sweeties!! This is a check-in for moms with a due date in the month of March 2010. If you would like to be added, please post your bump name, real name, age and EDD.
Also, if you need anything changed, please post your EDD along with your new info so that it's easier to find your name on the list (it is hard to find some of you to update!).
Check-ins will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 8am CST. Feel free to check-in any time that day. Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you want to add! We will have a question of the day as well. There will also be a link to the check-in posted sometime after 4pm CST on M, W, and F.
***Be sure to update your baby?s sex when you have your big u/s. If you?re not finding out, make sure you post that you are one team green so I can update that as well.
***Anyone who hasn?t updated the sex of their baby by the time we all move to the 3rd trimester board (once everyone is past 27 weeks) will be deleted from the list since it?s really long and some people don?t check in anymore. Sorry!
***There will be no check-in posted on Friday, December 25th or Monday, December 28th. Happy holidays!

Hi! Today is my last day of work until after New Year's Day, so I'm really excited
Holidays will be filled with lots of traveling, but I'm excited to see *most* of my family. Not those that I know will have insults waiting in the wings, but hey, we all deal with that I guess!!! Next week my husband took 1/2 days each day so we'll be doing some fun stuff in the afternoon.

DH and I are leaving today to see my family for the holidays. We will be traveling to various places the next 4 days seeing all different family members. I can't wait to see everybody!
Once we get back home we plan to spend next week cleaning the house which will include shampooing the carpets and finishing the touch up painting while we are both still off work.
Our plans are an extravaganza--tomorrow we go to IL's and then to my gma's; Christmas is my parent's then SIL's; Saturday is back to FIL's with all their OOT family; Sunday is back to my parent's for my OOT family.

We are having a get together at the IL's Christmas Eve and then opening presents on Christmas morning. That's about it.

We're driving 4 hours north tonight to visit DH's parents for a couple of days, then we're going to my parents (they live very close to each other). Should be a pretty standard holiday, but the whole family is getting very pumped about the baby so that should add an element of excitement
This is my last day of work for the year. Christmas Eve we'll go to church. Christmas Day will be spent with just us two. Our holiday will not actually begin until the 26th when my SS comes home. Then we are headed to a friends ranch for the New Year.
I am most excited about our 3d u/s on the 29th!!

We might go to church Christmas eve afternoon b/c there's a special service for 5 and under. Maybe just relax at home that night. On Christmas, we'll do presents in the morning. His family will come over for lunch and then we go to my family for dinner. Christmas is a lot more fun with LOs. Merry Christmas, everyone!
QOTD: What are your holiday plans?
We are having 3 Christmas's this year - it is going to be a long 2 days! We are going to my parents tomorrow night & spending the night there into Christmas morning (my brother, sister, & aunt & uncle will be there as well). We will leave around 12 & head to BIL/SIL's for Christmas dinner (w/ IL's, DH's grandparents, & SIL's parents). Then MIL & FIL are coming to our house to do Christmas with us. They figured it would be easier on me to get home earlier & not have to move all of our presents. Gets me out of staying at BIL's for a long time since SIL stresses me out. They know this so I think that is why they are doing this too. It will be nice but busy!
QOTD: Christmas Eve @ the in-laws (traditional Italian "7 fishes" theme...and about 30 of us packed in a small house) - it's always fun though. Christmas Day off to my parents where it'll probably be just us and them (who knows if my brothers will show and/or when).

Merry Christmas! We have so much visiting to do over the holidays. Christmas Eve with our best friends, Christmas Day is spent mostly with my family this year( dinner is with the IL's next year, we switch it) After dinner we will go to the IL's to spend time with them and open presents. Boxing Day is this year is with my Aunt & Uncle's family, there are so many of us, they had to rent a hall!
We have the other side of my family on the 27th. DH is back to work on Monday the 28th.
We are hosting a New Years Eve Party this year which is going to be interesting
On New Years Day with Scottish tradition we will be having DH's family over for a holiday dinner.

Hello everyone! Happy holidays!!
I'm in Dubai visiting my parents for a few weeks, so I am organising Christmas morning present opening and Christmas dinner- never done it before at my parents' house!
On the 27th, my parents are hosting a ceremony for me and baby in the morning and having a HUGE party (80 people) in the evening, in true Indian style. ALL my parents relatives are flying in for it because nobody in our family celebrates Christmas.. Really excited for it!

DH and I both work til 5pm tomorrow. I am TRYING to convince him to come to church with me and my mom, but am most likely losing that battle. Afterwards we will go back to my parent's house, have dinner, and open ONE present (pajamas - we get them every year!). We'll head back to our house, and probably watch National Lampoon's Xmas Vaca.
Xmas Day: We will head over to my parent's at 11am for present opening. We'll probably end up staying the whole day there. We were supposed to go to SIL's for dinner, but drama went down, and DH is currently refusing (he's in the right).
The 26th we will celebrate with my extended family (aunt/cousins/etc) and have a family dinner.
We'll be visiting our families over the next two days. Christmas Eve I work and am meeting DH at his dad's. Then we will go to church at 10 pm and spend early Christmas morning at home. Then to DH mom's, my mom and dad's, my grandmas, DH aunt's and then dinner at our place. Thankfully, everyone lives within 20 minutes of our house (MN is expecting 14 inches of snow over the next few days) so things may be hectic, but not too stressful.

I am working tonight and then coming home for a little nap. DH's brother and family are driving in from Houston tomorrow morning. We always do Christmas Eve at MIL's house. All the presents are opened and then the kiddos will have Santa presents and we all have stockings on Christmas Day. On Christmas morning, we'll go to my mom's house for breakfast and presents with my family. Then, unfortunately, we are going to split up for the day. I committed to going to my aunt's house again this year and DH really wants to go to his aunt's house... I don't want to be apart, but I also don't want my mom to be alone on Christmas (divorced from my step-dad and my youngest brother goes over there at noon). I guess I messed up last year when we went to my aunt's house. Oh well, it will all sort out. Besides, I'll be spending Saturday with his family for his GM's birthday.

We are having a quiet Christmas at home since I'm nervous about traveling this far along. Tomorrow, Madeleine and I will bake cookies and a cake for Friday, we'll go to church in the evening and watch "The Muppets' Christmas Carol" tomorrow night. Oh, and I'm making goulash for dinner. On Christmas day, we're going to my sister's for dinner. Should be low-key but fun.
