I went home yesterday and met the plumber. Luckily, we don't have a major plumbing leak. When they grouted our shower they didn't seal it so water has been leaking through where the tile meets the granite on the tub, pooling under the tub and eventually leaking under the ceiling. Also fortunately, the only demo involved was the front of the tub since the trick panel wasn't close enough to where the damage was to see it.

And my favorite part is once again my cabel line has been cut at my house by the builders of the house next door. This is the fourth time in the last 5 months and the 5 time since April we have had to deal with no phone, internet or cable at home, and I am going to have to take vacation time yet again today to go deal with it. I have used almost an entire weeks vacation this year to deal with their effing problem.

It's not my neighbors, no one lives there yet. It is the contractors of the builder who is building the house.

FYI.

You can call the local builders association as well as your local government, and they can be fined.

I used to work at a law firm in college that handled those cases all of the time. I believe in some states they have to pay you for the time cable went unused as well as time off from work.
