  by color {I can do a whole load of pink only}

  then whether I put it in the dryer or not...or if it is hand wash only.

  Usually we only have one load to do, so it all goes in together.  If there's more, we separate it between lights, darks, and towels/sheets, and if there's enough we do a separate load of reds.

  OMG!  When I started washing CJ's clothes with ours, my life became a million times easier.  I dry them separately though without a dryer sheet.
