I was told if it is a BF baby it's 5 days with no poop to be considered constipated and 3 days if FF baby with no poop. I don't know what you use but I'd probably wait one more day if I were you.

My LO just went through the same thing last week. My pedi said LO's do this from time to time and that she would self-regulate in a few days. Sure enough, after a "poopsplosion" on the 3rd day, she is back on schedule without issue.
My pedi did say to try the rectal thermometer if I hadn't seen anything by the end of the 3rd day. Apparently it gives them the urge to push. Also, some diluted prune juice (50% juice/50% water) was okay to try as well. GL!
Use a rectal thermometer and stimulate her bum a bit...and try some Pear Nectar--50% juice, 50% water...that's what we've been doing with LO since about 2m old and it helps a LOT

You will always be loved & missed our sweet angel.
I called Pedi this morning for the same issue and he recommended 2 oz of straight water twice during the day and said to also put vaseline on a rectal thermometer and put the tip in and out of his bum 10 times.
Luckily the first dose of 2oz of water worked and I didn't have to do the rectal (kinda scared me). He hadn't pooped in 2.5 days but within 2 hours he was pushing and had a nice explosion!

Thanks ladies, I'll give it one more day!

My doc told me it's perfectly okay for babies to go up to 7 days without a single poop, though they *really* shouldn't.
DS's record is only 3 days, but that 3rd day is just poopsplosion after poopsplosion. Not a fun day, haha.
