night terrors

Anyone have any experience with night terrors? DS has started waking up 3-4 times a night crying to screaming. He's asleep but nothing calms him down. Only way to finally calm him is to nurse him. He takes a few sucks and he's quiet and out. I don't want this to be a habit but I don't know what else to do. Doc said he's a little young to be having night terrors but he's pretty sure it is. TIA
