I'd like to get to meet all of my new neighbors. It's a new community and we've all been here for only a couple of months. I'm thinking of throwing a little party after the holidays and would like some tips from you all! TIA!
Well, I get that part! But would an appetizer/dessert thing go well? Should I have the kiddos or not? Would a mid day on a Saturday be better than an evening thing? I want it to be pretty casual, plus I don't want to have to work TOO hard. Would it be ok to ask people to bring their favorite appetizer or dessert?
Some friends of mine were involved in a HUGE neighborhood party for Halloween, it was a potluck and so fun. Everyone brought something, the party was on the front lawn of the organizers home, BBQ grill was going etc. Oh and each person/group was responsible for bringing their own meat to grill if they wanted it
