Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Let's liven things up a bit!

If you felt it necessary... what lengths would you go to to protect your child either inside the home or outside the home?

This can be to protect your child from doing something/ or it can be to protect something from happening to your child.

How far would you go?

Re: Let's liven things up a bit!

  • i would kill if i had to for LO.  no one in this world is more important/valuable than her.  if i truly felt dd was in danger i could totally kill to protect her.

  • I would go as far as to put down my computer and pick him up when he cries. Ok, Ok... so maybe I would just shove a nuk in his mouth and keep on typing. You caught me.

    Duh.

  • I would kill to protect him, and would also give my life for him in a heartbeat. No hesitation.

  • I would do anything for DD.

e-stalking is different than defending your child.

  • I'd kill for her...no question.

I'd also lay down my life for her....as a matter of fact I remember saying something along the lines of "just cut me open, I dont care, get her out!' when I was in labor. :P hehe

  • Well asking a question in which every mother would answer exactly the same is a little different than livening things up.
  • Is there anyone on here who would say anything other than "I would give my life for my child" or "I would do anything to protect my child"?

::fails to see how this post is livening things up around here::

  • I know the generic answer is "I would kill for my child". BUT, would you kill another child for your child? Would you kill your spouse?... etc. There is a huge gray area. I was curious as to peoples boundaries.

Would you drug test your child? Put cameras in their room? What are the limits to keeping them safe?

  • Okay, I gave the generic answer, so I guess to 'liven things up' here is another answer for you...

I'd cut a ***'s throat with a dull, rusty spoon, break her legs with my bare hands, and feed her to a hungry pig if someone messed with my baby.

    Better?

....seriously??  It's the effing holidays.  Let's go for the happy stuff, no?

I would kill my dh if needed to protect lo.

sadly, there was just a man here that shot and killed his 9 month old daughter while in a fight with the baby mama.  turns out he had pointed the gun at the baby mid-fight before.  if dh ever pointed a gun at DD or me we would be gone within 5 minutes and he would really NEVER see us again.  (unless he saw me in court)

Disagree! Somehow just her posting here has livened things up.

agreed.  I don't want to spend time contemplating who I'm willing to kill for Andrew.

I'd rather think about...well almost anything else.  :-)

i'm pretty sure you could get off here in a self defense excuse. i would do the same.

what the eff?  are you sure you're not a HAB?  you belong with those BSCbiitches!

  • I would easily kill someone if need be. I'm quite sure I'd die for him too. I don't think there is ever a "too far" when it comes to protecting your child.

ETA: Didn't read the other answers before answering. I'd kill anyone if it meant saving my son. No one is more important than him. Whether that means my husband, another child, a stranger, a friend. If the situation warranted the action, I would do it.

Would I search his room, give him a drug test, bar his windows, send him to rehab, send him to boot camp ... yes. Not just for shitsandgiggles, but if it was the only way to do what needed doing, I'd do it. I'd hope everyone would.
