Hi,
So I have dry skin in the winter. I use a hydrating cleanser that is supposed to hydrate well enough that a moisturizer is not needed, but I need it since its winter.
What do you use? I have cetaphil at home. It makes my skin very oily if I use it during the day, so I dont know what to use.
I also have acne prone skin too and very sensitive skin.
Any recs?
thanks
Jenn
Re: Moisturizer for Dry Skin?
I use Nivea hand cream and its worked the best so far for the money.
EDIT: okay, for your face.... ahhhhh. I recently started using Neutrogena (i don't know exactly what kind, but is in a white pump bottle and its got spf 20 i think)
Thanks...I will have to do my research...
For my face...sorry I didnt mention before!

i only use natural stuff so i use [from heaviest to lightest]:
olive oil
argan oil
sunflower oil
safflower oil
coconut oil -this one feels the best on and dries quickly
my skin has improved so much since using natural products. i also only use one of the first 3 to condition my hair [less than a teaspoon full] and it has never felt better.
I wanted to thank you for your power of persuasion in oil cleansing. I am so glad it worked.

I am absolutely in love with Burt's Bees day radiance cream. My skin is so soft, even in the dry, winter Colorado air. I am prone to breakouts/combo skin and haven't had any issues with this moisturizer at all.
Aveno daily moisturizer or Philosophy's Hope in a jar.
I work outside by salt water and my skin gets super dry and these work great.
I developed dry, flaky patches with redness around them. Not acne, but just... red flaky. The only thing that I've found to treat it and not make the rest of my face break out is Aveeno Ultra-Calming daily moisturizer.
