I saw her photo from a premier a few weeks ago and she just looked SO thin. It's sad, but I agree. You could tell something was really wrong with this young woman.
I guess I'm just weary of hearing what a tragedy things like this are when a LOT of the time - those people did it to themselves. I'm sure their families are devastated, but I just don't see how some of it constitutes an actual "tragedy".

Mine and Dh's first reaction. Cocaine. But I also have in the back of my mind her husband with the whole con-artist/deportation/quick marriage etc. He was probably a druggie too and helping her habit along.

ITA. Bob Denver running into a tree while skiing = tragedy. Christopher Reeves falling off his horse at a horse show and becoming a quadrapalegic = tragedy. Drug overdose by a celeb (esp. a fairly minor one) =/= tragedy to me. To their families, perhaps, but not to the world. i don't even think MJ's death was "tragic." Nor Elvis's. No more so than any other drug overdose death.
This! And I wouldn't be suprised if her shady husband was a part of this whole thing. I'd love to know where he was as she lay unconcious on the bathroom floor.
I don't pay attention to any celebrity's behavior but even if I was, it's always a surprise to me when someone that young dies. People I don't know spreading rumors about other people I don't know doesn't exactly add up to me knowing what's going on in that person's life enough that I could have an opinion on whether or not their death was imminent.

Perhaps it's simply that I work in an environment where death and dying are commonplace. And I'm certainly not saying that it's not a sad event for friends and family...
But it's not really "rumors" so much as something observable if you had ever seen or heard her. It was pretty obvious she was doing something terrible to her body, via one route or another.
Re: Perhaps unpopular opinion.
Ditto.
Those were my exact thoughts. Drugs or eating disorder.
I'm thinking either one of the two cause an irregular heart beat and lead to cardiac arrest.

I think "tragedy" is a word that's overused by the media. It's one of those hot words that grabs people's attention.
Anyone with loved ones who dies before said loved ones feel it was his/her time - I'm sure their death is tragic to their loved ones.
I'm just not sure each of these young/"untimely" deaths should be labeled as a general tragedy rather than a personal one.
Yes, I'm Cyndi Cynic.

Yep. Overdose. Watch.
A 32 year old does not have fatal cardiac arrest due to "natural causes".

My initial thought was anorexia.
Especially after seeing that picture of her in that black strapless outfit.
