Croup question

My niece has the croup, they will be coming down to spend Christmas with us. Now, hopefully (for her sake) she'll be over it before they come down. However, there's a possibility that either one of them (brother, SIL or nephew) may get it or be incubating it by Christmas.  SIL is worried since i'm pregnant. Do you think we should be worried?

    I just took my baby in to the ER yesterday morning b/c of the croup.

    It is a virus. The doctor did not have any fear of us returing to daycare. 

    Wash your hands, blah vlah blah- you know the drill.
