So, the family and I moved to an area that is near a lake and preservation area (its not even a park, cause you can't access it).Our back yard abuts the preservation area. It is AWESOME.
But, I might find myself sleeping with one eye open. From now on.
We have two dogs and a dog door in the kitchen door (that leads to the backyard. The back yard is fenced.
:Silly facts, but I am getting there:
So last night, the h is snoozing, the baby is sleeping, and I was just about to sleep. Then I hear coyotes barking....near the house. I mean they sounded like they were in the back yard.
So, I lay there then I think "Holy Sh!t, what if they come through the dog door:" So I get up, go to the window and see one of my dogs hightail in the house. Then I thought I saw a coyote. I try to wake the H, but thats not happening. So I go down and cautiously look to see if we have any guests (but our dogs were quiet). So, in precaution, I blocked the dog door, just in case.
Wicked.
And no, it was not a dream.
Re: Ok, kind of funny
It might be.
The only thing I could imagine is the Werewolf of London sitting on my couch.
Oh my gosh! That would definitely worry me too!
This reminds me, wasn't Jessica Simpson's dog snatched by a coyote recently? Hopefully, you have big dogs =/
