Need gift suggestions for my nephew

I know he'll only be 2 months old on Christmas day, but I would really like to get my nephew a few things from his aunt and uncle for his first Christmas.  I just can't seem to think of anything to get him.  My sister and her DH got just about everything off their registry, so he doesn't need anything there.  So far, I have gotten him a new instrumental cd to fall asleep to, but I am looking for a couple more ideas.

Anybody have any suggestions?  I am running out of time.

    My nephew was 1 month his first Christmas and I got him a soft flat pillow shaped like a monkey.  He couldn't use it right away but he does now and he loves it.  You could also get a keepsake item like a frame or ornament that he might treasure when he's older.

    Thanks ladies!  I did get him an ornament, but I gave it to him a couple of weeks ago so he could have it on the tree.  DH and I wanted to start the tradition of getting him an ornament every year (we are his godparents).

    This was kind of what I was thinking too, or maybe start to build his book collection even though he can't read them yet.

    I bought my nephews books for the first few Christmases.  It is never too early to start reading to them!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    I got my niece a nice stool with her name on it that comes out and turns into a puzzle. It is kind of a family tradition. The website is www.damhorsttoys.com. They are kind of pricey, but last forever and they can use them for a while, even when they are older. My niece loves hers.

    I vote for books - maybe some Christmas ones (How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Polar Express, etc) make sure you write in the cover so they can remember they were from you for his first Christmas.  I also got my nephew a few toys - I found some really cute ones called Sassy Earth Brights, you may want to look into them.
