I didn't mind the new version, but I will always love the old one. My favorite part is where they go in to the room where everything is edible/candy. That is my idea of heaven.
It IS creepy, but I love it. That is one of the very few movies I have purchased the day it came out (actually DH got it for me). Sadly, I think we lost it in the move :-( I must have watched it a thousand times.
Alice in Wonderland looks SUPER creepy though.

And I suspect his version of Alice in Wonderland, coming soon, will be quite creepy as well -- but I am excited to see it.
I just saw that he was going to be in Alice in Wonderland as the Mad Hatter and I agree that he will probably be creepy there too.
