I've only seen them online, but it looks to me that it's just a few yards of fabric, no ties or snaps. Correct me if I'm wrong. They're cute and everything, but $40+ dollars seems a little extreme for 3 yards of fabric. Am I missing something?
I got one in the mail today as a gift and found it a little tricky to wrap correctly. Granted, I have a giant belly in the way and it was my first try, but it would be really helpful if a baby doll came with it for practice. Maybe then it would be worth $40?
I loved Moby wrap with DD. I also had a Rockin' Mama Pouch that is great. They each have their good points. The Moby was a gift, and I wasn't sure I would like it, but I used when we were traveling for a totally hands free carrier, and it was great. Plus you don't have to take it off to go through metal detectors.

Re: What's so great about a Moby Wrap?
That's what I was thinking it was. Does it have to be jersey fabric?
nothing. it was a waste of $40 for me.
however, i LOVE my ergo.
we also tried a peanut shell, a hotsling, and a baby bjorn.
Here is a good link about how to use a Moby.
I don't think it has to be jersey, but it does need to be a knit fabric that has a little "give" to it, if that makes sense.
I think the jersey fabric is important. It allows some stretching for comfort but enough support, too.
