How are you handling your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day plans? We are just playing everything by ear and telling our families not to count on us. If we are there, then we are there. I am honestly hoping we are NOT there because that would make me over due by that point and I am not going to be fun to be around!!

I'm due tomorrow. I honestly did NOT think I would be this impatient come towards the end because I thought LO would be here before Christmas. Now I feel like there is no end in sight before Christmas. Mostly because my dr said..... Good news is your baby probably won't be here before Christmas......
If baby is here before Christmas and I am home we will be going to the inlaws which includes inlaws, 3 BILs, 1 great grandma, and 4 cousins/aunt uncles. Or if I am too tired I know they will come here for coffee and dessert.
DH and I were married Dec 23rd so this time of year is so special for us and I thought the anticipation of our wedding was bad!
I'm due on Christmas and this has been an issue for weeks! I have actually posted a few vents about it!
Orginally we were doing the same thing you are just saying if we are there then great otherwise don't worry about us. The vents came from the fact that I was pretty sure we made it clear that we weren't planning on anything but my MIL and Mom both were like on major pressure missions to force DH and I into comitting to something!
NOW~ We are being induced on Monday so I hope LO is here by Tuesday now the big thing is Do we go to the IL and my parents for Christmas.... because if we don't they will just come to my house and I can't leave then!!
We told my parents we'd come over Christmas Eve. It will be just the four of us and they live right next to the hospital. They didn't extend the invitation to friends like they normally would so that I'm completely comfortable.
We also plan to attend breakfast Christmas morning at my aunt's house. It's a tradition I love and she doesn't live far from us (or the hospital).
Both my parents and aunt would accept a last minute cancellation with no pressure.
Other than that we told family members that we're close to that they are welcome to stop by Christmas night, but only to expect dessert at best.
For whatever stupid reason I thought LO would arrive before then. Reality is setting in...
Were gonna go to DH's family on Christmas Eve and my family on Christmas day. My families house is a little further away from the hospital then I like (and not really, like 30-40 minutes away). But I'm due on that Sunday.
I have my next appointment on Xmas Eve so I'll wait and see what my progress has been.
