I want to know some thing you use to take for granted before you were pregnant that now you will not anymore. Here are a few of mine
1) Putting on and tying my shoes with ease. I now need to pull over a chair to prop my foot up, and even then it isn't easy.
2) Not waking up to go to the bathroom. Sometimes I wake up over 6 times.
3) Getting comfortable in bed. Sometimes I toss and turn (which can be a challenge itself) for hours trying to get comfortable.
OK now it is your turn...
Re: Things you wont take for granted anymore...
Eating whatever I want.
Drinking whatever I want.
Sleeping on my stomach.
Sexy time with DH.
Choosing an outfit from a closet full of clothes.
Sleeping through the night. :-/ (I'm sure I won't enjoy this one for years!)
1) Water - I am CONSTANTLY dehydrated.
2) Bath mats - they really DO serve a purpose. We have never had one, and I've been fine. I fell 3 times in the shower in the past 2 weeks. Ugh!
Putting on socks and boots without DH's help.
I SECOND the putting on shoes.
being able to put on jeans without falling over!!
being able to put on jeans and button them!!
peeing and having it feel like a relief
not gettting 1000 phone calls a day that say "are you in labor?"
1. Not being able to ski, go horseback riding, jumping on the trampoline with my nephews.
2. Bending over in general.
3. Talking on the phone without sounding out of breath
4. Hot chocolate the way I like it! (with Baileys in it)
1.) Jeans that zip and button
2.) Shaving my legs and grooming and not wondering if I got everything
3.) Putting on socks and shoes and wearing which ever shoes I want
4.) Being able to take whatever OTC medication I want for colds/headaches, etc.
5.) Not pulling a back muscle trying to wipe after I pee.
All of the above. I really could not have put it better.
Also walking normally. I do miss that.
See I get confused with the whole lightning crotch thing. I have had a lot of pains...but none in my crotch. I guess I should be happy about this... :-)
1. Being able to wear all of my shoes (I'm down to two pair that I can squeeze my feet into now)
2. Seeing my ankle bones
3. Sleeping on my stomach or, hell, sleeping for more than an hour at a time!
4. Eating, drinking and just exisiting without acid reflux
5. My sex drive!
