Hate opening presents and being the center of attention!

I know this is weird, but does anyone hate opening presents in front of people? My shower is sunday and i hate being the center of attention. Everyone stares at you and expects this HUGE reaction with each gift you open or atleast  that is how i feel, lol! I guess i am a weirdo! I feel like that at christmas time too. maybe its because when i was a kid if i did not do cart wheels my mom would accuse me of not liking any of my gifts and would get upset if i did not overreact and jump up and down. I guess i kind of have a compex now. I have to many mommy issues, lol

    I know what you mean I hate opening all the gifts in front of everyone. Everyone is staring at you and you don't know whether to show them everything you get from some people if they get you a basket of stuff or just a few things. And then you don't want that person to be offended. I just know how you feel, LOL. It will be ok though!

    I feel soooo uncomfortable with everyone's eyes on me opening presents. I just know my reactions aren't natural becasue of all the attention.

    I'm the same way. Hate it. I dreaded my shower. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting because one of the guests was very animated and stole a lot of the spotlight (which I was MORE than happy to share!). 

    Now I'm just dreading Christmas. :)
