REALLY weird question about odor...

For the past several days whenever I move my hands toward my face I notice a distinct smell - I finally pinned it down. For some reason I smell faintly of hydrogen peroxide. My BP is fine but not perfect (125/80 or so) and I have trace protein in my urine but my Ob is not concerned about it.
Has anyone experienced this? Google hasn't been all that helpful.

LOL. I almost spit out my water.
OK - maybe I just figured it out... I've been wearing wrist braces to sleep for the past two weeks - maybe my skin is reacting to the braces in some way?

That might be it especially if they're rubber. Or it could be that in your mind it smells like hydrogen peroxide. Since getting pregnant I get phantom smells like I will swear something is rotten in my kitchen and go crazy sniffing like a dog but there is nothing. Do you get that?
