Saw a chiro a few weeks ago- had a great experience and went a whole week back pain free! First time in about two months I went even one day without back pain.
Sad thing is that when I called my insurance they had outdated information and it turns out he was not covered. So my first visit was $85 and each one after that would be $40. I opted to find a new chiro that was covered so that all I had was my $15 co-pay.
Saw the new chiro today- much closer to home and of course, much cheaper. I don't like him =(
My back is already starting to hurt again and I saw him at 2:00. He was also just kinda weird. So now my choices are to try a third chiro or suck it up and pay $40/visit to see the first guy. Oh, and DH wants to see a chiro too (he is on his feet all day and often gets backaches) so we're talking $80/week to every two weeks- not budget friendly.
Re: Less than impressed with my new chiro
I think I'm going to. It's not like I *need* a chiro, you know? So there is no harm in seeing several until I decide on one I like. And truthfully, if DH didn't want to see him to I would probably just pay the $40 and see the first guy. But I can't be selfish and tell him I'm seeing the chiro but he can't. KWIM?
I have a list of providers that do take my insurance...which is how I found the one I saw today. Or did you mean they may be able to refer me to one I'll like as much as the original?
