I thought that I read that someone had found her name and phone number and was going to call animal control to have the dog checked on. I read the night of that whole fiasco. I havent heard anything since, I was hoping someone had

yes, someone had a relative who was a sheriff or something and they found the dog! i guess someone had called, not sure if it was the dog killer or not, to notify them and they found him limping along the road, i guess his leg was broken or something.....wondering how he's doing now...

she probably didn't but I thought someone reported her who lived in her town. I was hoping maybe she had some news, but I can't remember her bump name...

Well, I haven't heard anything past that. I didn't know if they actually found the dog. She claimed that her DH went there and the dog wasn't there.... but she also claimed it was snowing terribly and that her DH saw footprints. Ummmm... probably NOT. Fiasco is an understatement.

No she never went back to check on the dog but another bumpie found her location on facebook and called the police (she had family there that were law enforcement in the same area as the woman). The police went to check out the area and found an injured dog walking in the streets. A dog got medical attention for sure but we may never know if it was the same dog that the woman hit.

I couldn't think of a better way to describe it. Yeah she kept changing her story, and I only got part of it because of the DD.

We honestly wouldn't know if it was the same dog she hit even if she had been the one to go back later after checking on herself and LO...As bad as that whole thing was, I'm glad some dog got some help that night....
