Hi Ladies!

I have missed you all these past few days! So, as many of you know last Thursday I was admitted to L & D overnight for observation for increasing contractions...contractions that continued for 36 hours at 2-4 minutes apart and then basically stopped. Friday and Saturday I continued to contract every now and again (every 15-25 minutes). My husband and I went out and did some Christmas shopping Saturday AM and I just felt nauseous and tired...so I just hung out on the couch in the afternoon.

Come Saturday night - I was just feeling crappy but my little dog wanted to play with her ball - and it rolled under the couch. I got up and on my hands and knees to find the ball - and I felt a huge pop then a warm gush - that was my water!

I got my husband and we packed our bags and I called the OB who said "well looks like we will be having a section tonight". So I arrived to L&D at 9pm - got an IV - had a quick ultrasound to make sure he was still breech and at 1020pm I was in the OR getting my spinal and then at 1115pm my little man was born via c-section, butt first!

My DH got to watch the doctors pull the baby out and got to announce the sex to me.

I am so in love and so exhausted but it is SO worth it! I will write more later when I have my head on straight.
