Babies: 9 - 12 Months

So, sometimes he's eye-rubbing, cranky, etc.

And I put him down for a nap.  But then he rolls around and "talks" to himself for up to 30 minutes before he decides he actually is tired, then he fusses a bit, calms down, and goes to sleep.

Anyone else's LO do this?  He clearly doesn't want to be up and playing anymore, but must not be quite ready for a nap yet either.

  • Yes, all the time.  I swear it's because he's stubborn and wants to sleep only when HE decides it's time.  Stick out tongue

  • I still do that.

My DS does that as well.  He tries to fight sleep but he eventually gives in.

  • This is how nap time always plays out. Jude is tired, needs his naps, but it still takes some time for him to wind down.
