How's everyone doing today? Just got back from IUI - it went well - no pain AT ALL which I was thrilled about
I don't have a super good feeling about it though because I really think I ovulated yesterday. I had the worst bloating and pain I've ever felt in connection with ovulation. Seriously, no idea how you IVF girls do it. And then my temp went up a bit today so I really think I ovulated last night.
DH and I had sex day before yesterday so maybe that will cover us a little but still....bummer. I asked about doing a trigger next time so we don't have this issue. And the nurse said not to worry this time, we might still be able to catch the eggs, but of course, I am. I can test on 12/30 and call for a beta if it's positive.
The good news is DH's pre-wash SA was better than his last 2 - 28mil/ml as opposed to 10mil the last time. We sent in 14mil troops today.
Anyway, that's the update! Hope you all are doing well!
Re: Hey girls - IUI update inside for anyone interested
Good luck Gym!!!! Great news about the sperm count, way to go DH!!! And I'm so thrilled to hear that you didn't have any pain. I'm going to keep everything crossed until your test date!!!!

Thanks for the update, I was thinking about you!
One thing I will mention that may make you feel a little better about the timing...I read that with MFI it is more effective to do the IUI shortly AFTER ovulation so that the egg(s) is waiting for the sperm and the sperm doesn't have to wait for the egg.
So happy everything went well! We were all wondering how you were!
Here's to a great outcome . . .
Hey Gym!!! We have been having serious withdrawals today!! Glad it went well and didn't hurt AND glad that your DH's count went up! That's great!
I hope they got the timing of it right, you just never know. Plus, don't forget that Clomid messes with your temps.
I have got it all crossed that this is your lucky month!! We have to have at least 1/3 of the trifecta work out!
Thanks for the update! I am glad to hear things went smoothly today. (Yay for no pain!) I will keep my fingers crossed.
Also glad to hear that your H's SA was better. That's good news.
Now to play the waiting game.

The RN that did the IUI said that the egg can live up to 44 hours after ovulation - not sure how accurate that is, but she really did know her stuff about everything else! Hopefully it's not just wishful thinking on my part.

Thanks! I asked the RN about the big follies and you are correct - pretty much anything over 24mm won't produce a properly matured egg. So I only had 2 as opposed to 4 so phew!
