Best place to buy children's books?

I love TJ Maxx for buying books b/c they are a great price and have a decent selection (for not being a bookstore) but since they mostly carry all of the ususal suspects and we've picked most of them up, I think it's time for me to move on to an actual bookstore.  We need more selection.  Where do you go for the best price and selection?

  • Borders.  With 30% or 40% off coupons that they email just about weekly when you have a rewards card (which is free unlike B&N).

  • We actually buy most of our books at Half Price Books. They have a massive selection of kids books. I like the idea of recycling books and I hate how $$ books are these days, especially for nice hardcover editions.

Everything we've gotten there has been in like new condition.

  • I LOVE Blue Manatee for different types of books.  I also go to Half Price Books and the standard Barnes&Noble and Borders.
  • Tuesday Morning!  I can't even begin to tell you how good some of the finds I've gotten there.
  • there is a new discount store not far from the intersection of 275 and hamilton avenue. it is called Ollies. They have a TON of new books starting under a dollar.
  • I second Blue Manatee- we got there frequently. Its not the best price, but I like to support local business and they have a HUGE selection and super knowledgeable staff.
