I went to L&D on Thursday since baby C wasn't moving. Turns out he was fine however I was having regular contractions. Within 3 hours of being there I was going on 2.5 cm dialated. Dr's decided it was time. I was 33 weeks 2 days.
Wyatt James was born at 5:28 weighing 4.8 lbs.
Keagan James was born at 5:29 weighing 4.9 lbs.
Brennan James was borna t 5:31 weighing 4.6 lbs.
They were on CPAP the first night and Brennan needed an IV through his umbellical cord. Everyone was taken off the next morning and Wyatt and Keagan were on room air and had their IV's removed. They are all taking bottles and getting some through their feeding tubes. Today, Wyatt and Keegan have been moved to the Special Care nursery since they didn't to be in the NICU any longer and the newborn nursery was full. Brennan should be there tomorrow or the next day.
As far as the c-section goes, I puked the whole time. Recover has been a piece of cake for me. The nurses have a hard time finding my incision.
We feel very lucky and the dr's and nurses are impressed with how the boys are doing. Hopefully they can start gaining their weight and maintaining their temp so they can come home soon.
And I have to say my nurse that was doing my NST's was great. She was monitoring me when I came in and stayed past her shift to be with us in the operating room. She made it a real great experience.
The boys were born on 12/10. The same birthday as my SIL and DH's grandfather so they are the third generation sharing the same date.

Re: I'm a mommy!! PIP
Congratulations! Sounds like you had a pretty good experience and a great nurse! Sometimes that makes all the difference.
Yay on the babies progress. And it has to be said - you look great. :-)

so awesome! my boys were also born at 33w2d, and at similar weights (4'10, 4'10, 4.3) but on December 4. Ah well, so close.
Glad they're doing well, they will be home before you know it!
