I didn't with the first and I dont this time. People keep saying are you hoping for a boy this time? And I can honestly say I don't have a want either way.
I really don't! I do care that I know as soon as I can, but as far as preference of gender.... we worked so hard for this baby, I will be thrilled with either!
I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but I do care what the baby's sex is, but I would equally be happy with a boy or a girl.
It would be great to have one of each, but it would also be great for DD to have a sister.
Love: 8/2000 | Marriage: 7/2005 | Baby makes three: 3/28/2007 | And one more makes...SIX?
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.
That's how I feel. DH and I have talked about perks/pros of having either sex as our first child, so we're not heavily favoring one over the other right now.
I guess I'd be lying if I said I *truely* don't care. I would love to have a girl, but I'll be trilled to have a boy too. It's like 51% want girl, 49% boy.
I'm with you on that one! I just want healthy. DH wants both but he said he really wants a boy first. I can honestly picture us with either, but I truly dont care if we have a boy or girl.. both would be great !
We don't. Most of the differences I've seen ascribed to boys vs. girls are stereotypical gender assignments that lots of folks in DH and my family have a history of breaking, anyway, so what's the difference?
With both previous pg's I hoped for a boy but this time I honestly dont care either way!! Im just super excited to be completing our family wether its a family of all girls or if I will finally experience having a son!
With Macy we didn't know and I pictured myself with a little boy, a houseful of boys actually. Now that it's a girl, I can't imagine it any other way!
Now with this pregnancy I truly don't care. I would love to have a boy because I don't have one, but I would equally love to have two little girls! Macy has such cute clothes and I would love to get another use out of them
I mean, obviously I want a healthy, happy baby. But the only thing in me that has a preference is this one little petty feeling. My brother got married two years after me and had a baby right away (he is older so it really is fine!). I am in LOVE with my nephew and wouldn't trade him for the world. But I guess getting married 3.5 years ago I had always thought I'd have the first grandchild (not that love changes for any child, I know!) so a small part of me wants a girl so that I can have the first granddaughter. PETTY! I know! I would adore a little girl but little boys are awesome as well. So unconditional love will be bestowed no matter what :-)
I really don't! I do care that I know as soon as I can, but as far as preference of gender.... we worked so hard for this baby, I will be thrilled with either!
This 100%, it took us 2.5 years to get pregnant, whatever we have I will be ecstatic!
I love my little girl so much that it really makes me want another one, but I think it would be really fun for DH to have a boy around, so I'm torn. DH feels like he's destined to live in a houseful of girls so he has a strong feeling that it's a girl.
I really don't have a preference. People seem to not believe me when I say that, but I really don't. I think DH wants a girl, but he won't come right out and say it. I know he won't be disappointed either way.
I might have had a preference if i had been lucky enough to get pregnant easily, but since we had to work hard for this...i am just so happy to be pregnant!! i couldn't care less what it ends up being!! (besides hopefully healthy!)
DH and I both would love a little girl but we will be just as happy with a little boy!!! Everybody keeps saying we are having a little boy, so we will see. All I want is for my baby to be HEALTHY!!!!
I honestly don't care either way. I'll be happy with either. DH really wants a boy and today they did a gender prediction at our NT Scan and the ultrasound tech thinks it's a boy. I was thrilled. Ideally I'd like one of each, but I'm ok with either!

I will be happy either way. If I'm destined to have a mix.. I would like a boy first.. but I really do want to have a daughter at some point, so maybe I'll be relieved if it's a girl.. I don't know. I'll be ecstatic either way I think!
I have three nieces on my side, and three nephews on DH's side.. so whatever we have will make one half our our family extremely happy. just a matter of which one!
We feel our lifestyle would be better suited to a boy {hubby is a professional mtn bike downhill racer, we travel constantly, etc.} but we will be happy either way. If we end up with a girl, she's going to learn to love getting dirty!
I would like to have a girl this time, but in the end I really really don't care either way. DS is such a mama's boy, of course I want another one just like him, but it would be nice to have a girl as well. I'm pretty much right in the middle.
I really don't care either! And since we already have a DD, i'm already starting to get boy comments and it's seriously starting to piss me off! I just want a healthy happy baby.
I only care about healthy. I don't even want to know in advance what the sex is. My husband is the opposite and he can't believe I'm not doing everything I can to find out the sex!
I can honestly say that while all I really really want is a healthy baby, I would love to have a little girl (especially sinceI already have two boys) but we would be thrilled with either since we plan on having more children!
Re: Anyone honestly NOT care what the baby is?
DH wants a boy, I want a girl
BUT as long as the baby is healthy I honestly could care less. I wont be like upset if its a boy. Ill be super happy either way.

Exactly this for me too.
I can honestly say I will be just as excited for a boy or a girl.
No I don't care.

So, honestly and truly I don't care.

Nope, don't care at all. I'll be excited either way.
I totally think its a girl though. I thought my DD1 was a boy though - so my track-record sucks.
I really want a girl. Honestly, I wish I didn't have a preference!
I'm one of 3 girls and it's truly the best! I'm sure if I had a brother I would love him too though
This 100%, it took us 2.5 years to get pregnant, whatever we have I will be ecstatic!
