the only real fast food type of stuff we get is subway or chipotle. at subway she gets a turkey and cheese sandwich and yogurt and at chipotle she gets a chicken quesadilla and maybe some rice and beans.

Generally chicken nuggets. At steak n shake, though, he eats mac n cheese, which seems to be his favorite food ever. We don't really make it at home, so it is a good treat for him.

We've done McDonalds and Chickfila...both places are happy to make him a grilled cheese (he won't eat meat or chicken). And then he gets the apples or the fruit cup.

No, my DD gets french fries everytime we walk to McDonald's which is like once every two weeks. She just doesn't eat. Id rather her eat that than nothing at all. But she does love some chicken nuggets and bbq sauce. And she always gets a drink of my sweet tea. I don't care how that makes me seem, but I have far worse things to worry about in life

We usually only eat fast food at Wendy's. DD always gets chicken nuggets, oranges, and milk. I usually end up giving her a few of my fries as well.

Sigh, they do. It takes everything in my power not to go over there because it's right across the street from our house.

And Lori, I pray that one day Breleigh eats as well as Joseph. I would LOVE to buy her her own meal!

Nope. DD either gets a nugget happy meal and fries or a cheeseburger in fries. It's not like she eats it every week. A few fries won't kill her.

LOL I love that we have to add disclaimers on here now, I give them FF but.... DD has enjoyed Chix nuggets once before and some FF. I on the other hand enjoy them more often!

Hehe usually I don't get her anything, fast food runs are for *me* ;D I'm not opposed, I just wonder if she'd actually eat it and get annoyed if she didn't if I bought it for her (lame, I know). She gets to munch on my fries though

To answer the original post, I usually get a bigger order of nuggets or chicken fingers and he eats some of mine (with fries). A few times he has had part of my burger. We only do this when traveling though, so I don't think a few times a year is going to hurt the kiddo.

Cheeseburger and apples

He has had chicken nuggets or strips, but I don't like that most have MSG and other stuff in them....so I prefer the burger.

DD hasn't had any fast food yet...she doesn't eat meat really, and doesn't like grilled cheese so I don't know what I'd give her. I never thought of going to subway...I'm going to try that soon!

I do love the idea of ordering a large fry so DD and I could "share", lol!

I'm a mean mom, I don't really get DD food from a fast food place simply because if I'm grabbing food it's just because I have to eat in the car and I'm still afraid she'll choke. So mostly I make sure she eats before we leave and feed her when we get home or go somewhere and sit down to eat.

Well. the only fast food DH and I eat is Chick fil a and DS will eat NOTHING from there. The only chicken DS will eat is grilled chicken, that's it. So we don't ever order him anything. And when we go out to eat, he usually eats off of our plates or we order him a side of beans or mac and cheese or something...
