update on 12 week appointment (U/S PIP!)

Is it wierd that the entire time i've been pregnant at every appointment they havent done any internal exams or were even thorough about anything? My first 3 appointments were all in 2 weeks because they wanted to check my levels and do a lot of blood work and when everything showed up normal that was it. Now every appointment has been the nurse asks how im feeling, takes my weight, i pee in a cup, and they take my bp, then dr has done an u/s with every visit! I absolutely love that so im not complaining lol but i just thought it was different that they're not more thorough. I guess that means everythings going ok? lol
Anyways at my appointment on thursday they took my weight, bp, urine sample, and dr tried to listen to the hb which is still too small i guess so we got another u/s!! Baby Hardesty actually looks like a baby now!!
dr said the hb is strong and our little one looks great! next appointment when im 16 weeks we're getting another u/s to try to see the sex!!!! if it doesnt work we'll try again at 20 weeks but im soooo excited!!! Just wanted to update

oh im very thankful they dont go there! lol my boyfriend was the first one to say something about it. but i guess we have nothing to worry about lol yay no internals!!
