World's Most Insensitive Wife. That's me.
My husband feels sick probably 3 out of 7 days in a week. He has bad eating habits, eats too muchcrap and then feels likeshit. He told me last night his stomach hurt. I think "Noshit! You had chips for breakfast, 2 hot pockets and a bag of popcorn for lunch and McDonalds for dinner, not to mention the beef jerky you ate before bed." I direct him to tums. He refused to take any.
This morning he said his stomach still hurt. Again, "here are the tums." Doesn't want to take any.
He's getting ready for work. "My stomach hurts."
At this point I'm annoyed with him and ask him what he would like me to do. Would you like me to call someone to sit with Logan so I can take you to urgent care? He says no.
He goes to work and called me 10 minutes ago saying he's still having stomach pain, he told the guys at work and they've convinced him that his appendix is about to burst and he's going to die. I tell him that if he thinks that's what's going on that he should probably leave work and go to urgent care.
He gets mad that I'm not concerned. I tell him that it's hard for me to believe that he's "really" sick when he complains about his stomach hurting, his back hurting, his head hurting, he has a cold, he has the flu, he has indigestion, his throat is sore, blah blah blah...every single day. But again, obviously he's concerned enough to tell me about it so I tell him to go to urgent care.
He tells me that I'm the most insensitive person he has ever known and that he's not going to go to urgent care and instead will spend the day feeling likeshit, going shopping with me tonight and maybe tomorrow he'll go to urgent care if he doesn't feel better.
Freaking Drama Queen.

Sick men are the worst. Seriously.
I hope it's just from the crap and not his appendix.
Logan has had a bad cold for 3 days now and taking care of him has been a piece of cake compared to when DH is "sick."
My ex is like that, always sick and dying from something. I got to the point where I just didn't respond anymore and he said..
"You know, even hyporchondriacs die of something."
